I combined these ocean-themed decals with a huge variety of clutter items and furnishings. A lot of the paintings, posters, and wall decorations that came with this expansion feature sea-creatures, anchors and ship’s wheels – all of which look great in my beach-side bar. I love how open and airy this build feels.Īs Brindleton Bay is also a seaside world, I found myself utilising a large number of the wall decals from Cats and Dogs. I was super excited by the idea of creating a space that was largely open to the elements and so, after I had built my initial structure, I deleted some of the walls and added in the new glassless windows. When I was creating this bar, I really wanted to make use of the new windows and doors included with Island Living.
I particularly like the way the paint on the new dining table, picnic bench, and wood-siding looks as if it has worn off over-time! I love this aesthetic and the new items proved ideal for creating a weather-beaten, Hawaiian-style beach bar.
I really love how home-made and rustic it looks – it just had to become the centrepiece of a beach-side bar! Luckily, this expansion comes with a whole host of dingy and dishevelled looking furniture, wall-coverings and flooring – all of which match the bar perfectly. Playtested as usual, without CC, use bb.moveobjects on before placing the lot. The original lot on this location is Pier Perfection. There is a problem with the terrain paint, it doesn’t appear when you install the lot.
Info : Residential, 20x30 beach lot, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I really love the buy/build content of this pack, it works very well with the stuff from Jungle Adventure or Laundry Day. It will be challenging to use most of it outside of Sulani, but I’m sure I can do it! So this house has power and running water!
Obviously, I couldn’t test Island Living before I built a nice house for my sims!Īt first, I wanted to build an Off the Grid house, but I’m quite disappointed by this feature and its constraints (I will post more about this later!). I don’t plan to continue my renovation of Sulani, I will not build another lot in this world for now.
